Spain | The San Sebastian Jazz Festival
Join KCSM on our second annual trip to the Heineken Jazzaldia Festival in San Sebastian, Spain from July 20 to July 27, 2020! This exciting trip is accompanied by a KCSM-FM Jazz 91 host, and will not only feature access to great festival concerts in ancient, historic settings but will also be a gastronomic and cultural tour of the Basque region of Spain. Featured artists announced so far include Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, John Zorn New Masada Quartet, Abdullah Ibrahim, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Graham Nash, Marc Ribot Songs of Resistance, Fire!Orchestra, Miho Hazmana and the Summer Big Band Musikene, and Hiromi! More acts will be announced as we get closer to the festival. KCSM-FM Jazz 91 fans have really enjoyed our trips to last year’s festival, as well as the Havana Jazz Festival in January. We are doing it again, so please join us at the Heineken Jazzaldia Festival in San Sebastian, Spain. Spaces are limited!
