Labor and Community Organizing From The Ground Up!
Trip Availability: CLOSED
Dear Friends,
We are proud to invite you to join us on a special journey this May Day. This trip to Cuba is all about Labor and Community Organizing from the Ground Up! From APRIL 25-MAY 3, 2017 we are confident you will come away with a deep understanding of the complexities and wonders within Cuba as we experience together the beauty of the island’s people and cultural heritage sites.
With the Obama Administration’s changes advancing the normalization of relations, and Trump’s future policies towards Cuba, it is surely an interesting time to travel to Cuba, engage with Cubans, and express our solidarity.
We will learn about the history of the Cuban Revolution, the legacy of Cmd. Fidel Castro, and understand the organization of Cuban society through its mass organizations. Additionally, on this trip to Cuba we will learn about the fruits of the Cuban Revolution: Health Care, Education, Sports and the Arts.
