Maricon Malimban is a recent graduate from San Francisco State University. She received her B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management; she also double minored in Asian American Studies and Business Administration. During her time at university, she began volunteering and helping her local community through joining several student organizations while she also learned about her own culture. Maricon loves learning about other cultures and hopes to travel around the world. Her first stop will be the country of her ancestors, the Philippines. These experiences made her want to continue helping people and to help preserve other cultures and their communities.
