PCC and AltruVistas present World Heritage in Panama! An exciting tour combining visits to the country’s iconic cultural and natural sites and formal and informal meetings with locals, NGOs and government organizations to gain a broad understanding of contemporary Panama and one of its most important economic sectors –the Panama Canal.
We’ll meet with historians and social leaders who will put that incredible engineering feat into context. A cruise on the Canal itself will take us from the Atlantic to the Pacific in one day! The trip also includes Soberania, a lovely National Park hosting about 1,000 species of birds.
This tour includes includes double room accommodations (4 stars) , program activities, transportation to and from activities in AC motor coach, 2 meals daily, qualified trip leaders and guides, honoraria to speakers, donations to partner organizations, all programmed fees in the day, and base tips during included meals.
What is not included: one meal a day (either lunch or dinner), extra beverages, individual tips (to hotel staff, driver and the Panamanian Guide) personal expenses, optional evening activities, airfare to and from Miami.
