What better way to jumpstart summer 2025 than in Croatia, a coastal paradise favored for its crystal-clear waters, breathtaking national parks, and over 2715 hours of sunshine a year? Through conversations with locals over delicious food and wine, and journeys amongst the country’s stunning medieval architecture and natural beauty, we will share powerful experiences that leave us with lifelong memories and relationships. (And for Game of Thrones fans: Croatia is home to many of the show’s filming locations!)
We start our 11-day/10-night trip in Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” for its picturesque architecture and scenery. After soaking up the sun by the Adriatic Sea, we take a road trip (with fun stops!) to Split, a bustling port city situated between the mountains and the sea, and the cultural center of the Dalmatian coast. Here, we will explore Roman ruins, beautiful islands, and the famous Krka National Park. Then, we’ll take a day trip to Hvar Island, a celebrity vacation spot known for its clear blue waters, deserted lagoons, and cobblestone streets. We’ll spend our final few nights in Zagreb, where we’ll journey through museums and the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park before enjoying our farewell dinner together!
Optional add-on: If you want to make the most of your trip, consider adding the optional excursion to Slovenia after the trip for 4 more nights! Located in Central Europe, Slovenia is a hidden gem of Alpine mountains, thick forests, historic cities, and an exquisite food scene. Our trip will include 2 nights in the capital, Ljubljana, and 2 restorative nights in the gorgeous resort town of Bled.
