Surrounded by seas on three sides, Turkey is a large peninsula that bridges the continents of Europe and Asia. Istanbul, separated by the Bosphorus Strait, is a city like none other for bringing together such Eastern and Western influences. Plus, as one of the world’s earliest permanently settled regions, Turkey is incredibly rich in history. In fact, one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the ruins of Ephesus, are still there! But what many of us may not know about Turkey is that is boasts some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and some of the most unusual topography. This trip is epic— including hot-air ballooning (optional) and several boats—we are doing everything we can to see as much of the beauty and culture of this country!
We start our 13 day/12 night trip with 4 nights in the amazing city of Istanbul, the cultural capital of Turkey, before we fly to Cappadocia for 3 nights filled with stunning scenery and otherworldly landscapes. Then, we fly up to Izmir where we’ll spend a day at Ephesus, before we end with 4 nights at the beaches in the seaside town of Fethiye.
