Cuba | Cuba and Its People Through Photography: Eastern Cuba

Journey Dates: January 4-12, 2019 Trip Availability: CLOSED

Tour Sponsor: Joe Guerriero Photo

Join us on this photography trip to Eastern Cuba, led by long-time AltruVistas collaborator Joe Guerriero Photography/Road Warrior Productions. This “people to people” trip offers a unique opportunity to interact with local artists, photographers, and musicians on the eastern side of the island. We will explore the Sierra Maestra mountain range, stay in local homes in Santiago, and visit the beautiful El Cobre Church with the Virgin d la Caridad (Patron Saint of Cuba) Sanctuary, visited by 3 popes. We will explore the photo-rich city of Baracoa, the oldest Spanish settlement in Cuba.

As usual, the photo opportunities will be rich and unexpected. We welcome amateur photographers, pros, semi-pros, and snapshooters who are looking for more. And, of course, you are welcome if you are not a photographer at all.
