Luis Enrique BazánGlobal Immersion Programs & Strategic Partnerships
With over 20 years of experience in social justice, education, and community empowerment, Luis Enrique is passionate about guiding people to make meaningful change while reflecting on their personal vocation and values. As Director of Special Projects and Institutional Relations at Ayudando Latinos a Soñar (ALAS), he leads programs that not only support vulnerable communities in the Bay Area but also encourage deep personal reflection and a sense of purpose.
Previously, at the University of San Francisco, he developed international education programs that challenged students to think critically about global issues while exploring their own sense of vocation and responsibility. Luis Enrique’s work spans from supporting homeless children in Peru to addressing immigration challenges, always emphasizing the importance of reflection, personal growth, and aligning one’s actions with values. Through his leadership, he inspires students and young leaders to see social justice work as both a calling and a path to transform themselves and the world around them.
